We're officially on the Road to Fringe 2008! Our show is written and goes into production this coming week. Join us on the party trail, culminating in our summer show extrordinaire! We've got our Street Team working around the clock, on an Olympic-sized world tour to spread the word! Recent stops have been India, with France up next!  Street Team India! Send us your own Street Team International Photos! We'll post em! However, the first official KTO pit stop on the Road to Fringe is none other than... SKETCH COM-AGEDDON! Hellfire and brimstone will rain as the Comedy Bar opens it newly installed doors June 19th-21st, for a barrage of sketch fury! From the same great folks at the Toronto Sketch Festival comes a comedic battle royale! Get all the details here, and cheer on your favorite sketch troupe!*  *that means us, jerk. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DON'T CALL IT A COMEBACK added May 5/08 11:26pm ...Cuz we've been here for years! KTO has taken a bit of time off to get our creative minds back in the right place and produce some really, really great new material. We're writing feverishly and eating copious amounts of souls to bring you nothing but the best in the near future. To tide you over accept these 3 secret tokens of our love: *KTO has been added to the 20th annual Fringe Festival line-up in full sketch effect! Stay tuned for the super-duper announcement as details emerge. *KTO is going to be collaborating with the fine chaps of Statutory Jape to produce a monthly improv and sketch sampler for the summer at the Bad Dog! *Some of KTO jammed out with Pauly Shore this past weekend, keep our fingers crossed for a collaboration? By now you've surely heard of the bloody Sketch feud between your KTO and The Accidental Company, which boiled over into multiple confrontations at the 2007 Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival over the use of KTO's Adam (a former Accidental Company member). People all over the world have been taking sides and expressing their support for KTO in this viciously comedic gang-war. Kalan Porter, former Canadian Idol has spoken: he's selected KTO!  Take that, Accidental Company. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOW AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARD! added Nov 20/07, 4:11pm Like OMG! Because of you, the very awesome KTO Nation, we've been named the winners of the NOW MAGAZINE AUDIENCE CHOICE award at the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival! Thanks so much to everyone who came out (and extra to those who actually voted for us), as well as all of the troupes involved in the show. It's been the single greatest experience of our still-brief career as a troupe. Because of the win, KTO will be featured alongside the very cool SHAME IS RIGHT, and Best of the Fest prize winners (and all around AMAZING troupe) THE DANCE PARTY OF NEWFOUNDLAND this Friday night on the Second City Mainstage! Tickets are available here. Showtime is at 11pm, KTO is second on the bill, but trust us -- you don't want to miss anything.
